One of the top camera iPhone apps

I like this app much better than the native 6+ camera app. But it does have one very annoying flaw, which costs it a 5-star rating. When trying to view images in my 6+ Photos app, any pics TAKEN with this camera app in Portrait (vertical) mode cannot be VIEWED in Portrait mode; they will automatically rotate so they cannot be viewed "upright", that is, vertically. I don't have this issue with any other app, and Landscape (horizontal) images don't suffer from this auto-rotate issue. Otherwise, a first-rate camera app. Worth getting, even with this issue.

Doesn't work so well for me.

I needed more control over all the camera settings and ProCam delivers. Stop being frustrated and spend the $10. It’s well worth it! I never write reviews, but this app works.

Ui kind of ugly tho.

Bit of a learning curve to unlock the features, but referring to online guides will help you unlock the power of full manual mode, raw file format, exposure brackets and more. Well worth the price if you’re a serious photographer.

Beautiful sofware

It does what I need it to do. It could have a few more functions, but I’m sure they’ll come.

Lots of manual controls, including 4K

Helpful for allowing me to choose which camera to use and for adjusting focal lens. Would be even better if it can record videos (or maybe I didn’t find it on the app)

Has manual settings - can change frame rates and exposure.

Excellent picture quality and accessible controls made this app a favorite for me. I also like the copyright text that can be added to all pictures by default.

I use the app all the time. It has so many great features that help take the best pictures possible.

Best camera app I’ve used. Totally dunks on native app. I love shooting video with it.

Using this on iPhone 15 Pro. So much better than phone camera especially if you like manual control over all camera options.

This app is a great option for digital photographs.

Now it is full of a bunch of features each with their own fees. Edit: Developer asked me to update my review so here it is. The app has added new buttons to advertise new features. You don’t know until after clicking on it that it is a paid feature until the next screen where you see a lock. If you click the button with a lock you get to a screen that you cannot exit unless you buy an upgrade, start a trial, or force quit the app. There is more than one feature like this, so the app is full of land mines where you will be afraid to click if you are not ready to test a feature for a limited time. There is no confirmation if you hit the try button, the timer just starts. I didn’t ask to be tricked into clicking on ads for new features. Also, if there was just a single screen that showed all the upgrades and a package deal to get them all I probably would have bought it already, but my expectation is that these new surprises are going to keep getting added over time. These dark patterns made the app change from being a joy to use to being annoying enough to write a review. Edit2: Where is the lock by the AI button in the photo browser? That’s right, not there. You have to click to find the lock icon in the next screen. Do better.

This could be my goto camera if they could change 2 features. The shutter button has a delay to it in movie mode. The auto focus goes off when you tap the zoom up or down. I would like to see a permanent auto focus switch which stays on permanently no matter what

Started using this app since iPhone 7. I like this app very much since it could fully control everything. But currently I find it quite slow and make phone quite warm when using on iPhone 16 pro.

The new zero processing mode is a game changer for me! I take pics of paintings and with the iPhone camera the exposure was always off. With ProCam’s zero mode the colors are super accurate and the exposure is perfect. Thank you team for an incredibly power app!

Low rent people attacks others to build themselves up. I received this app way back when Starbucks featured apps and on that day could eat for free! This is a great app no complaints here.

Have been using this for years and still my go to camera app for my iPhone. I go back to it time and again for the flexibility it offers that I really can only find with my camera.

This app gives me control of the camera I need for product photography. A necessity if trying to shoot color accurately

I felt pathetic to see after i already purchased the app, the same app wants another 5dollars to give me access to my phone’s sensor theough the app i already paid for once. I wish there was a better alternative.

Listen, I know you need money and all, but do you really need to paywall things my camera can already do in an already paid app? The camera on my iPad is already capable of recording in 4k max, intentionally paywalling that is like making someone pay to open the freezer on their fridge. I guess that’s what I get for expecting mobile developers to be reasonable with monitization.

The solution you suggested worked. But it didn’t work when there is not enough space, which it didn’t show any reminder as usual last time I recorded and was forced to quit when I hit snap at a point and nearly half of my recordings were gone. I couldn’t find any when I tried your approach. It was like a nightmare Any suggestions?

I tried this app because Apple claims their iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 48 MP camera, but photos are done with 24 MP. Thanks to this app I can get ultra-defined photos with 48 megapixel. Best choice ever.

Does not do anything as advertised. Horrible user interface. But hey, it’s your money. Spend it and see for yourself.

All my photos and videos are blurry and realized that the default camera app is so much better.

1) How can you say that it’s recommended by professionals when the flash doesn’t even work with slow shutter speed, waste of 10$ 2) Response to the developer’s answer on my review. What you’re talking about is saying that you have no idea what the flash and slow shutter speed is being used for which makes me think that you have no knowledge of photography at all and yet you’re a developer of the app that’s called “pro camera” lol I would like to change it to 0 from 1 star, but this option is not available yet. People better spend 10$ on Wendy’s

Don’t get this if you like your pictures to be in focus

Unlike some other paid manual camera apps, this one does not yet support launching from camera control. Otherwise, features are as described.

Great App, perfect photos

This is the first app I ever got. Still holds as the best photography app for a phone.

I’ve used this app now for several years. However after some recents updates the timestamp and copyright information doesn’t not show up in the picture any more. Awaiting support and see what they say. Frustrating to say the least
