This app is way betarraga then the Apple camera app. I highly recommend it.

no need to use pics/video apps but this one. this is the only one i still use

If you try to take a photo with the shutter speed longer than 1/15 sec. you will get an error message that says "Take picture failed (-11800)". So the parameters are not as stated. That being said, this app has a wonderful interface and I hope someday the developers will create a way to allow us to take a photo at ISO 2000 at 1/2 sec. as other apps currently do.

I myself adore this app, it helps me edit photos and take photos in a very professional matter, it works great in all conditions and the daily photo in the notifications just tops it all off, 5 stars

Since the last few updates, Im unable to do selfies with this app. Every time I press the camera like on the app that comes with iPhone, a circle wraps around it and nothing else. Please fix this issue. Thanks in advance.

ProCam is the best example of a minimal UI camera app I have used. If you have tried the full camera controls available on apps like Camera+ or 645 Pro and PureShot but are looking for a more minimal experience I would recommend ProCam 3. FEATURES: ◾️ All the important camera controls are conveniently located at the bottom of the screen above a slider control, which has steppers at either end for fine-tuning. ◾️ Less often used controls are at the top of the screen and can be hidden with a vertical swipe. ◾️ HDR and Bracketing features work well. ◾️ A long press on the AWB control locks white balance to a light source-quick and clean. ◾️ Zoom-while-focusing is good but lags a little once youve set focus. ◾️ Camera modes (Time Lapse, Video, etc.) are easily accessible but are out of the way. ◾️ All text rotates so that shooting in horizontal mode is easy and feels natural. ◾️ There is a Widget to access the app from Notifications. ◾️ The editing tools are assessable from the Apple camera roll. ◾️ The comprehensive list of editing tools is very well laid out. ◾️ The ability to instantly switch the shutter mode between Timer, Interval, Screen Trigger and Anti-Shake is very convenient. ◾️ Settings are easy to get to and allow for a good amount of customization. NOTE: A link to an on-line tutorial is provided in Settings. Reading the tutorial is a good idea; while the UI is minimalist, there are some subtle features that are not readily apparent.

This review is coming from an avid nature photographer who uses a combination of a Nikon full frame DSLR and his iPhone 6s Plus running the latest public iOS, 9.3.2. The functionality and ability of Pro Cam is amazing. As a die hard native Camera app user, I had Pro Cam on my iPhone for months before ever attempting to use it. When I finally did, I was really impressed by the clean UI, the solid features walk through, and all of its functionality. Pro Cam really gives you DSLR like control over your iPhone camera, in a pretty simple manner. Two star rating because overall execution is very poop. On Apples latest flagship device, running their latest iOS software, Pro Cam crashes again, and again, without fail. Open the app, customize a few settings for your photo, app crashes. Open the app again, adjust your shutter speed, set your shot up, app crashes again. Fix the app crashing, speed things up inside the app a built, and increase its overall functionality, and its five stars. Make the improvements and this might just be a native Camera app replacement for many iPhone users.

i need to shot only in portrait mode please add manual adjustment i need manual pixel option in photos 8 10 12 etc and also in video and row video mode options is bad change it . ui complicated

This is a great camera by a inspired developer. It isnt for quick snaps - the depth of features means there are lots of settings and controls. That can be overkill for quick photos and confusing for amateur photographers. If you know what youre doing, or are willing to learn this is an amazing and powerful app. I love the app and continue to learn with it as they add more features and robust video. I do worry that the app will become bloated. Maybe at some point they spin off the video - I rarely use video and prefer to have separate apps to keep things more streamlined. For your everyday photos, or if you want a simple camera that still offers great manual control get their Shoot app. I have both and use Shoot everyday and ProCam for when I want more control and have more time to compose the shot.

This seems to be great app but it could be updated to make it even better. I use a iPad Pro with this app. I would love to try and shoot 4K video and 4K time lapse with ProCam 3 but it seems to be for the iPhone only. I hope they are working on a update...

...would love to have a full screen display when shooting stills in 16:9 format; currently the smaller display makes it hard to judge the framing and focus. Competition does it very well, Im pretty sure this will be implemented in a near future, right? ;-)
